My 2013 RX350 with light gray leather interior according to the Lexus vin decoder. My driver side sun visor won't work. Didn't bother me to much before but it's getting on my nerves it doesn't work.

I changed the bulb with a know good bulb - no go
I took the visor apart and looked at the springs and did the spread thing - no go This you tube video wasn't quite like my 2013 but I was able to get it apart. Looked okay to me. but close.

I haven't ohm'd out the pins to make sure I'm getting power to the sun visor. YET!

BUT, if I end up getting another sun visor, do I get a gray (yes) or is it tan? My seats actually look ivory.


Will the passenger fit temp just to see if the power is working? hmmm Anyone got one to send to try? Cheap attempt to get a part I know.

If the color code is gray, then get gray. There are probably many used ones on eBay.
The only way to know if the passenger works or fits is to try it. I don't recall seeing this issue previously.

I learned the hard way that it is sometimes impossible to tell the gray from the tan via photos on the internet. I went to buy an RX that said it had Parchment (tan) and the photos looked right, when I got to the car in person it was actually gray. The seller (a BMW dealer) thought Parchment meant gray because in BMW's that is the term they use for a gray interior!

Your seats appear gray to me in your photos.
