Potentially a new owner but still needs help in steps for a proper buy...2013 rx350
hello community, Im looking to purchase a 2013 rx350 awd for my wife. Im not too familiar with the suv. Any advice on what I need to know about this suv? Im hoping to keep this for a long time. Anything that I need to watch out for? Im not sure if this needs timing belt change?
2013 rx350 awd here is the link the car. What do you guys think?
I'm usually on the ls430 section of the forums

Other than being the most reliable SUV on the planet, you can't go wrong. I doubt a 13 has a timing belt. Just check it out as with any other used car and go from there. I have a 14 and only had 1 minor issue since new. Pretty hard to top an RX for reliability vs. ANY make out there.

Looks like a good one. I had a 13 and loved it.
I do note that this particular one is not equipped with ML, radar cruise, or navigation, if those things matter to you. This one has the 18" wheels, which I prefer.
Let us know what you decide!

The 3.5 V6 has a timing chain. They do not require changing. As stated above it is probably the most reliable SUV on the market.
Nice looking car, I really like the saddle brown leather seats. Low mileage is a plus.

The dealer description says it has navigation. Plus the following:
Leather Seats, Sunroof/Moonroof, Power Package, Navigation System, Preferred Accessory Package, Preferred Package, Premium Wheels, Premium Audio Package, Heat Package, Premium Package, Tow Package, Luxury Package, LE Package, Audio Package, Bluetooth, Backup Camera, Remote Start, Comfort Package

It has the nav option. Same setup as my 15’ I think all the premium sound units have it.
I think the baby stereos without nav have the backup camera in the rear view mirror.

It has the Lexus Display Audio, not navigation. Look at how it has the round audio controller in the center console, not the Remote Touch. The dealer’s description is not correct.

Yeah, some of it is inaccurate. Heat package? Whaaat? I also don’t believe it has the luxury package.
Looks like a nice one, but their description is a bit off.

Then the price should get lower.
