Hello,
I have a 2012 RX 350. I can open the trunk with the remote, by the handle, or the button inside on the dash, but when I try to close it using any of these three options all I get are two beeps and the trunk stays open. Any suggestions?

Welcome to CL. You really should learn to use the search feature as this has been covered before. You probably hit the valet override button in the glove box. Or may have damaged hinges and need it realigned.

Hi, thanks so much for your time and reply. I did look on the search before I posted my question. I did not hit the valet button. I think it might be one of the sensors within the trunk or the motor itself. I took it to Lexus and there was an error code, and when they cleared it it worked again but then after driving it for 5 minutes it stopped working again so it's either the sensors or the motor.

The valet mode button would have also prevented the opening motion.

same for me on my 2010. its been 6 month. i didnt take my rx for a check up yet. its not the valet button

Do you see the hatch move a bit or not at all?

Also when you try to close it manually, does it feel balanced or you have fight it a bit.
