Default Value of Lifetime Powertrain Warranty

I’m looking at a 2013 AWD w/63k miles for $22,600 from the local Honda dealer. That includes a lifetime Powertrain warranty, lifetime synthetic oil changes, and state inspections. KBB range is $19.3k to $23.3k. How much should I figure that the extras add?

Thanks

I bet it's a "Lifetime Limited Warranty" so check the fine print to find out what the limits are.

I would guess at least $2,500 to $3,000. And yes, check the fine print.

Who is actually issuing the warranty? That also makes a difference.

Thanks but it has become a moot point - we decided on a different year. Now we just have to find one!

Lifetime powertrain warranty, I do not think this exists. Lifetime Synthetic Oil Changes…. sounds like a sales ploy, what’s going to happen is when you turn your car in for “oil change,” then you are held for captive…they will issue a report, this and that need repair and you end up being trapped.

Evaluate the purchase value and make a decent offer. Then you have the liberty where to take your car for service. And to say that it is a Honda dealer who will be servicing your Toyota, strange.

We decided against the car but the terms are legit. The catch is that to maintain the warranty you have to Never miss an oil change from them. It’s covered by a dozen dealerships under one company. Nothing but 5* ratings except a few obvious trolls like the guy who said the carpet was infested with maggots.
