OBD2 EML 327 connector

Hi, did anyone have a positive background in using OBD2 EML 327 connector to screen fault codes in his Lexus RX 450 H or other model ? I bought a cheap chinese one and it does not a good job and even it generates undue error messages. By chance these messages went away after a while.

I have both a V1.5 (the bigger one) and a newer V2.1 (the little one) EML 327 bluetooth device. The older V1.5 one I've found to be reliable. I got the newer version so to possibly leave it plugged in (the old one is too big and hangs down too far for me), but I had lots of trouble with the newer V2.1 and kind of gave up on it. I've been using the Torque Android app, which has worked fairly well for me on a number of different phones.

Thank you. If a well understand the combination that works properly is EML 327 V 1.5 and Torque Android (Lite or Pro ?). I am using an EML 327 V 1.5 and I get a lot of error messages and signals on dashboard that are fake ones and theys disappeared after a couple of restarts. This happens with several android software including Torque Lite an Pro.

I would stay away from them. I had same issue, tossing error message somehow. Why bother then?
Torque site has list of dongles that will work with OBD2 and phone. Just pick one in the middle.
Also, it is said that wired dongles do not cause error codes. Ones that have pigtail that connects to USB or micro USB.

Thank you. This makes sens, I will try to use one this compatible dongle.
