Default 19” inch wheels 19x10.5 +22 on 2015 lexus rx350

19” inch wheels 19x10.5 +22 on 2015 lexus rx350. Tire size 285/45/19 all around. No rubbing, perfect fitment. Ride quality is as comfy as stock. With wider wheels driving at 60mph is not sketchy on a heavy rain anymore, at turns car is a lot more balaced, no more bouncing left to right at turns. Paid $700 for brand new varrstoen wheels and $400 for set of 4 brand new 285/45/19 tires from walmart online store.

Your new tire/wheel combo sticks out by 1.5 inch (compared to the stock combo) gave you about 15 additional lbs of unsprung weight in each corner. I'm assuming you are OK with that. (your speedo setting should be unaffected).

Oh yeah.
New:10.5”/2=5.25”, 5.25”-0.86”(22mm offset in inches)=4.39” lip
Oem:7.5”/2=3.73”, 3.75”-1.37”(35mm offset in inches)=2.38” lip

4.39”-2.38”=2.01”. 2.01” is a lip size difference

I have 8 inch wide 19 inch wheels with 255/50/19 tires plus 25mm (inch) wheel spacers on each side. My tires also stick out a bit from the wheel well arch, but not as much as yours. However, it does drive a lot better with a wider track and tires!

Yes. You are correct if you are just driving with the wheels only and no tires. But remember that your original wheel/tire combo had a total width of 235mm vs 285 for the new set up (the OEM wheel is a bit undersized in terms of width). As such, the difference after accounting for the wheel offset on both old and new nets out to about 38mm in outward extension from your old set up.

Using your math if would go something like this:
New:11.2”/2=5.6”, 5.6”-0.86”(22mm offset in inches)=4.74” outward extension
Oem:9.3”/2=4.65”, 4.65”-1.37”(35mm offset in inches)=3.28” lip

4.74 - 3.28 = 1.46 inches is the difference.

Since those wheels and tires fit his car, they will fit your car exactly the same. Keep in mind you need wheels that wide to handle 285 width tires!

Did you not read my post in this thread in which I describe the wheel and tire set up on my vehicle? I will not repeat myself.
The guy who posted the photos of his RX with the big a$$ wheels and tires already showed that they will fit any RX. He also said it worked just fine and drove better. What else do you need to know? He even provided the name of the wheels. You can just go to tire rack dot com and find suitable tires and maybe they even carry those wheels too.

Default Go with what you like!

I have 255/55 R20s on mine and they look better than stock and fill the wheel well perfectly. IMO 285 is too wide and sticks out (ghetto on a Lexus) too far. If they don’t rub, and you like em, go with it.

Consider 255 or 265 at most. Just sayin.

I think the setup is cool. It looks aggressive like a BMW X5, which are staggered. That setup being 285/35/21; 10x21 +40 front and 325/30/21; 11.5x21 + 38 back.
