Default Static Noise from Driver Side Speaker?

Recently purchased a 2015 F sport with 43,000 miles on it (L-certified). I have noticed a buzzing/static sound being emitted from the driver's side that occurs sometimes at stop and during motion. I am starting to believe this is occurring from one of the speakers but can't discern which. Anyone else have this issue? I took it to the dealer for its first complimentary service and they said they could not replicate (not surprised).

The obvious issues are obvious. For not so obvious issue, you need to demonstrate it.
Make an appointment with the service advisor and ask him that a tech should be available at the time of appointment. Then it is show and tell.

If you have intermittent problem, then it will be hard to demonstrate and more important repair.

Yes, whenever the service department tells you they cannot replicate the problem (happens all the time), then you MUST demonstrate what you are talking about to them. Usually this works, as you "should" know how to make the problem appear. Good luck!

I'm having the same intermittent sound happen on the driver's side of my 2010 RX 350. Sounds like speaker static but when I put my ear next to the speakers when the sound is present I'm not so sure, seems to be coming from deeper in the dash. Still has an electrical quality about it. Curious, were you able to diagnose where the sounds was coming from?

Following the link the noise source was the check valve on the brake vacuum booster and it is inexpensive.

Found them at lexuspartsnow for a 2014 Canada (North America) built RX350

https://www.lexuspartsnow.com/parts-...html?pnc=44730

44730-22150
Valve Assy, Vacuum Check(For Brake)
Part Name Code:
44730
$43.99
$34.33

The Check valve grommet was discontinued, so you probably don't need it, but may be able to find it elsewhere using the part number:

90080-48071
Grommet, Check Valve
  • Part Name Code:
    44696
