Signal lights
with other cars I have had, you can press on the signal light stock and the lights with flash about 3 times , left or right
the RX does not do this , is there a setting to be able to switch this on ?

From what I've found out, only on the 2015, and maybe needs to be equipped with nav. We have a 2014 with nav and the setting is not there. http://www.lexus.com/pdf/service/RX_with_nav_LPS.pdf see page 3

i will check to see if we have that on our 2013
i am surprised the dealer ( really I am not surprised ) did not go though this with us when we got the RX
the setting also not in our 2013 Nav

It has been some time since I did the change for our 2013 RX450h.
This is how to do it (I can't find the instructions specifically for the RX. This is for the GS, but as I remembered the process is the same. Also my RX450h came ALMOST FULLY LOADED (EXCEPT FOR HUD). Therefore I'm not sure what optional "packages" the RX needed to have this feature. I think if your RX can already do the sequence of 3 flashes, then you are able to change this. I changed this not only on my RX, but also on my LX and RCF. I can't get it to work on my CT though.
Or here is the step by step instructions from a prior post below:

Just in case some of you want to change the number of blinks when you tap the turn signal stalk for lane changing, here is a step-by-step posted on the 4GS forum (by: FishBike). You can have the dealer change it, or use an app too.
1. Start with the car completely off
2. Use the rotary **** on the wiper control to set how many blinks you want. This **** has four positions:
- 1st (bottom) position = 3 blinks
- 2nd position = 5 blinks
- 3rd position = 7 blinks
- 4th (top) position = no automatic blinks
3. Hold the wiper lever in the all-the-way-up position, and keep holding it there
4. With foot OFF brake pedal, press the start button twice so the gauges light up (keep holding that wiper lever up!)
5. Continue to hold the wiper lever all the way up for 5 seconds or more (if you go too fast you will have to start all over!)
6. Let the wiper lever come down one position and hold it there for 5+ seconds (don't let it go back to the middle, just let it come down one position)
7. Hold with wiper lever all the way up again for another 5+ seconds
8. Let with wiper lever come down one position again, and hold it for 5+ seconds
9. Let go of the wiper lever. The right turn signal should flash once. If it doesn't, turn the car off and start again at step 1.
10. Briefly move the turn signal lever down 1 position and let go of it again.
The left turn signal should flash to confirm your setting, but not in the way you might expect. It will blink 1, 2, 3, or 4 times to match where you set the rotary **** on the wiper control, so:
- 1 flash = set for 3 blinks
- 2 flashes = set for 5 blinks
- 3 flashes = set for 7 blinks
- 4 flashes = no auto blinks

"I think if your RX can already do the sequence of 3 flashes,"
in the manual ( I actually read it today ) to make the signal light flash , you have just hold down the switch, so I am not sure if the RX-350 is able to do it. We do have the nav

Yes, but that's not what the OP wanted to do. I realized that by holding/tapping the signal lever slightly (but not all the way) will make the signal flash (3) times by factory default.
The issue I think the OP (and others) wanted to do is instead of the factory default of 3 flashes, is to have it flash more than 3 flashes (5 to 7 flashes) with just ONE gental tap. This is not described in the owner's manual.

right now if tap on the signal lever it will only flash once
I would be happy with 3 flashes

Ok. So have you tried the modification procedures and see? If it does not work, you won't loose anything except maybe 10 minutes of your time. The first time I did it on my RX450h, I had to do it three times before I got it correctly.
Why not just try it?
BTW, I think Lexus HQ should have this feature on ALL of its vehicles.
