How to switch off the ECO mode and start the engine?

ECO mode is under settings.

It would help us, if you would share which model and Nav or not.

Please elaborate, can not start ,,, what happens when you move the key from ACC to run? Are your brake lights lighting up when you press the brake pedal?

Have you tried to shove the gear shifter to P all the way up, or tried to start with the shifter in the "N"

Have to agree, we need more details and a clarification, is the problem he can't start the thing or is he asking how to get it out of ECO mode (or both.)

Have to remember the first time the exGF borrowed my '13 450h. She got in the thing with the fob and fastened the seat belt, at which point the seat moved, and hit the start button. She then spent 10 minutes pushing the start button and trying various things, never once putting her foot on the brake, before coming back in to say the thing won't move.
