Default Roof rails or shaved Poll

So do you like the RX with the roof luggage rails or not? To clarify, the question does is not about the 'SLATS' which run across.

For some FWD 3RX owners, it's a moot point

I bought the removal kit but never took off the roof rails. It was more work than I wanted to do. Also, I didn't want to worry about leaks. Sure I could've used plumbers tape with the screws per members' recommendations. But I left them on. The RX might look like a humongous sedan without. Disclaimer, I had no roof rails or spoiler on my 1RX (aka the hippo).

My vote is for the roof rails. Mine did blend in after all.

Mine did not come with the roof rails. I neither need nor want them.

Crap, I voted wrong and can't change it! I meant to vote rails. My rails blend in nicely since my RX is silver. And I use my rails... i sometimes mount a Yakima rooftop cargo box.

Fixed it for you, tkill. And I agree, the roof rails are well disguised with tungsten pearl. Not that I think there's anything wrong with the contrast.

FWD don't come equipped with the rails. If any one wants them they have to purchase and add.
AWD do, and they have remove them and put in the filler kit.

Options at the time of purchase can change the above.

Correct... think about it in terms of hair... I'm talking about a shaved head... not a reverse mohawk.

Once in while things crack me up, and this is certainly one of them.

LOL... If I can visualize it, I can "see" and understand it better. Consequently, I tend to think and speak in "pictures". Sometimes, like this one, my mind just comes up with images which are sort of funny, and that always helps me remember the issue better, too. I think the thread title sort of pushed my mind in that direction, too.

I took the bars off but rails stayed. it looked weird without them. They do, however, create wind turbulence and noise.

Do you mean the rails cause noticeable noise?
I would have thought the bars would create the noise.
