2013 Rx350 fsport rear wiper arm
Hello all, I have a 2013 rx 350 f sport. My question is this, I had my tailgate glass replaced and now the rear wiper arm does not want to move, the wiper motor still moves however, the arm will not move unless i lift the arm. It also will not do a complete wipe...stops half way then goes back to start point, seems like it is getting stuck past top edge of glass. I tried to tighten bolt but that did not help. Is there a stopper that maybe missing or is the wiper messed and should i seek out professional help to fix it?
thank you

Get the folks who replaced your glass to fix it. They messed up the installation. It is their problem.

Was it verified to have been in proper working condition BEFORE the rear glass change? If "no", then perhaps the problem existed before the glass replacement.
The only reason I ask is because we rarely ever use our rear glass wiper, so if we found ourselves in the same situation, I would be wondering if the problem wasn't really just a bad motor before the glass repair effort.

Spring tension against the glass will keep the base hub pulled away from the splines if the bolt is loose.
Take it back & have the glass installer look at it. I'd bet it wasn't snugged down enough.

That is sort of what happened to my friend who just bought a used 2016 ES350 that had had the windshield replaced. They failed to push the driver side wiper arm down far enough on the spline so it stuck up a bit and then it would not go to the winter position slightly under the hood without scraping the paint. He figured it out by comparing it to other cars on the dealer lot and a youtube video.
