Default Which Year Model to Buy For My Second RX350?

I currently drive a 2010 RX350. This month I'm planning to buy a newer model (not brand new because I never buy brand new). Assuming the same mileage on each car, are there any significant differences between the 2014 and 2015 RX350?

About the only difference is LED fog lights. IIRC, that was introduced on 2015 MY. For a more complete comparison between '10-'12 RX and '13-'15 RX, check out Bert's thread here. Just disregard the parts specific to the 450h.

Thanks, that was great information. I have one more question, which I have researched but not been able to find an answer for. Do the newer models come with remote start as a standard feature, where you can start the engine as you're walking toward the car? I live in Florida and really want this for the summer.

Remote start is not standard until the 16 model year, I believe.

Remote start is standard on the 4RX but at a price. There's quite a bit of debate whether using the fob works once the trial Enform subscription expires. That's similar to RES which I had on my '10. The only cost was when it was installed in port. Range is limited but the alternative, RES+, also requires a subscription.

The factory RES sucks. Get a Viper remote start. Cheaper than the Lexus one and works 1000x better (range is much, much better).

You don't just want to start the car "while you're walking to it" if you're in Florida. You want it running at least two minutes to make it tolerable by the time you enter and (from what I hear) the range on the Lexus one is factor(s) of ten less than an aftermarket, such as a Viper.
Similarly, if you are in a cold climate, 30 seconds doesn't do eff all to warm a car that's at -25°C.
My apologies to Al Gore et al.

Best value for remote starter is after market one such as Fortin EVO-One or iDATAlink HC1 or HC2. This units let you use smart key or remote fob comes with the units which give whole lot better range. I can start my car from inside the church. Car is parked at parking lot outside. When mass is about to end I start the car. And by all means try to get a CPO vehicle to have peace of mind. I have CPO '15 RX hybrid.
