When I purchased my new 2008 RX 350 I was able to turn off the seat belt chime using a hack. I recently purchased a 2015 RX 350 and have tried to do the same but have been unsuccessful. Does someone know how to do this to the 2015 RX 350? Please note that the 2014 hack does not work on the 2015 model year.

It is rather simple. Your dealer may do this as part of custom options at your request.
Some may be more reluctant than others. Mine gave me no grief about it and just got it done.
Got the rear door to auto-open with the press of the button on it at the same time.

Check out Carista.com. I just bought the app for the iPhone and the module from Amazon. Works like a champ and one can customize quick a bit for the 3rd generation RX. I own a 2015 F-Sport with the Nav.

What I was attempting to do I believe is a customizable feature. The attached article describes how to do it, but I haven't had much luck
with our 2016. Maybe some one else might want to try it. Let me know
how you make out.
