Default New RX350 Help with AC

Hey guys,

Recently bought a new 2015 RX350, and the AC set up is a little different then I am use to. I do not have an AC button. I have an auto button and a off button. If I want just the fan turned on with outside air, how do you do that ? If I push the fan controls after pushing off, it still turns the AC on. It is not very clear in the manual. I have the Luxury package which includes the automatic air with auto recirculation. Thanks if you can help. Happy Labor Day !

Bring up "Climate" on the Nav Screen, it may be a little clearer using the screen input?

You can turn off the A/C Compressor on the "Climate" screen and that will leave you with "air" only and no A/C Compressor. I think that the next time you push on the Auto button the compressor will come back on, not sure?

Just tagging onto this thread.

When I set my fans to blow front widows and I select AC off in climate menu, it still seems like AC is on, as the air is still cold?

Also is there anyway to link the two temp controls? So if i change the temp on drivers side it changes passenger side too?

Here are the settings available using the Carista app on our 2014 RX:

Heater & A/C:

Temperature dial calibration
-2°C / -1°C / *NORMAL* / +1°C / +2°C

A/C evaporator control
*AUTOMATIC* / MANUAL

A/C ECO mode
*ENABLED* / DISABLED

Auto-increase blower speed when front defroster is on
*YES* / NO

Auto-turn on A/C when AUTO button pressed (if needed)
*YES* / NO

Deactivate front defroster when AUTO button pressed
*YES* / NO
I don't see anything to link the driver and passenger temperature setting.

Having access to these settings does not explain what they do.

I know the Evaporator is the cooling coil but not sure what the difference between Automatic and Manual would be.

Not certain what A/C Eco mode is.

It does look like there is a setting for the Auto button turning the A/C back on.

Yes. Just deselect DUAL on the climate control screen. Then, using the driver temperature control, both sides will be the same temp.
