Start Button: Is there a way to go from engine On to just electricity on?
 

Hi, a lot of times I jump out of the car to grab stuff but my wife and kid stay in the car and would like the radio to stay on but with the engine off.

Is there a quick way to go from engine on to just electricity on?

Or is it 2 step process, press start button to turn engine off, then press start button again to go to electricity only on?

Shift to neutral and then press the power button. You can also start the car in neutral too. Don't forget to set the parking brake.

Shut if off in Reverse!
 

If you push the power button while in Reverse, the engine shuts off but leaves power on (like an "accessory" position) AND the backup camera stays on for entertainment. Shift into Park after you shut off the engine.

Try pushing the start button, in park, without foot on brake. That will activate the electronics. If you push the button again, that should activate the gages. Just stay away from the brake and you will be fine.

I think OP is referring to when the vehicle is already running, how to turn off the engine but keep the radio playing without having everything cut off all together (normal operation)
