2010 RX 450h Runs Sluggish
I noticed recently that my car has been running a little sluggish lately and can't figure out why. What I mean by sluggish is that when I press the gas the car is relatively slow to get up to speed. Getting onto the freeway for example, or just trying to take off "quickly" (it's a Hybrid so not trying to race anyone
) just not noticing the car doesn't seem to get up to speed as quickly as before.
This is with ECO mode on or off, just more noticeable with it on. Just got the oil changed this morning, still noticing it.
The car has only about 35K on it so really puzzled as to what might be causing this problem.
Has any had a similar experience?

How is your traction battery level? If the hybrid has not been driven for a while, or has been going uphill, it may need to replenish the traction battery, in which case it would be less responsive. You could drop by the dealer to check it out. Should still be under warranty.
I really should have known the issue. Or at least done a bit more basic trouble shooting. Being new to driving a hybrid I felt like there must be something complex going on.
I popped the hood and checked the filter, sure enough, it was pretty dirty. Though not enough that one might expect the the car to behave the way it was.
Shopped around for a good price on an OEM air filter, replaced the old with the new and and I am once again back in business.
