should i sell my RX and buy a NX?

I love the new NX design but I am unsure of buying, is the ride better than the RX?? Mine has 19 and dunlop tires that are very harsh and I dont like the ride now, theres a lot of similar complains.
is fast enought? the interior size is similar and I dont care abouth cargo space.

Read Corrado excellent detailed comparison here......https://www.clublexus.com/forums/nx-...omparison.html

We waited until the NX came out to finalize our shopping. For us it was too small inside, the 4 banger, even turbocharged, just didn't cut it VS the V6 in the RX for highway driving as we will be using this vehicle for. It's missing a few nice features like the auto folding mirrors and runs on premium. The look is polarizing and we are on the other side of that. There were no deals on the new NX, whereas we got a boffo deal on a new RX, so we went that route and are very happy.

But if you really like the NX.....

Test-drove one two days ago - wife's Q5 is 5 y.o and will need replacement. I did not like it: the ride is harsher than in RX but with the same body roll; 4-cyl. is noisy and you need to floor it to get going when merging into traffic. Noisier than RX on the road both engine noise and outside noise. The ride quality is not "luxury".
If you don't care about space and rear seat leg room try GLK - the ride was very nice when we test drove it; Q5 is a little firmer but handles better w/ less body roll, X3 - not very comfortable seats. Also you can try QX50. RDX was better ride than NX - not as much engine noise at least.

My wife mostly drives the RX, I own an Infiniti EX, which I believe is now the QX. You cannot compare the two. The RX is a far quieter and more comfortable ride even though the EX is much more fun and will run circles around the RX. They both have great features but are totally different animals as I would think the NX and RX is.

I felt like I needed a shoe horn to get into the NX, and I am an average sized guy- 5'11 and 160lbs. The interior was way too small. I didn't sit in the base model NX, but the seat bolsters in the F sport were so pronounced that they immediately hurt the sides of the my legs. I would really like to meet the person who designed the seats in that thing....I imagine someone with the body dimensions of my 9 year old daughter.

I did love the styling though, as well as the interior build quality. I am anxiously waiting to see what the new RX looks like.

@vince22. Appreciate the reference.

Some key points I want to mention regarding my review is the comparison is with the RX F Sport and my NX has AVS which is unfortunately not available in the US. This adaptive variable suspension makes the NX ride surprisingly smoother and more comfortable than the RX (F Sport).

The NX F Sport front seats have stiff bolsters which is not ideal for long trips. The bolsters have softened up a little with use but if you use your RX for long trips, it is the better vehicle.

Good luck.

I would not recommend, I tried the NX soon as my dealer had it. the RX is much more of a car and value. Price tag is a tad high when fully packaged.

If you're not sure, hold off.
