Anybody have experience with TOYO Spectrum Tires. I just had the Lexus Dealer put 4 new tires on. They aligned the car and now there is a humm and vibration . Low frequency above 20 and high vibration above 40. Their tech says its in the tires. I noticed no balance weights on the rims . Do they hide them these days , I find it hard to believe with 4 new tires they are all in perfect balance . We are trying to figure out the problem and so far they have had a tech drive it and he says yup its in the tires. Im wondering if they forgot to balance the rims? Toyo says that if the dealer calls they can switch them out for me so I just want to make sure its not a simple balance issue but like I said I don't see any weights on any of the wheels. I had thought these were discontinued but Toyo says yes a spectrum sold retail was but this model is made specifically for dealer direct, a company where a lot of dealers get tires designed for their models. appreciate any help

The weights should be glued or stuck on with adhesive on the inside of the wheel, parallel to the tread (the flat part of the wheel). If you look through the spaces between the spokes you will see the weights, they may appear as flat squares in a row on the wheel. You may also have to crawl under the car and see if any weights are on the rim edge on the inside section.

It sounds like you may have 4 defective tires and should demand they take them back and sell you something else. In the alternative, they should try to do a Road Force Balance, which is a more sophisticated way to balance the tire wheel combo by determining the heavy spots on both and rotating the tire on the wheel so they are opposite each other to minimize the out of balance that needs to be corrected. However, sometimes you just get bad tires. I put Yokohama Envigors on my old 2008 Lexus ES350 and the shop could not get them to balance and I returned them for Michelin tires. I already had them on my MINI Cooper and they were great, but in the larger size apparently had balance issues. I also suggest you see if Tire Rack has any information on this tire.

If you can, try to switch out of them as they are not very good tires based on the reviews. Road noise, bubbles forming, and balancing issues seem to be common. https://www.1010tires.com/Tires/Reviews/Toyo/Spectrum

I agree with Corrado, Lexus doesn't use them as OEM on anything. If they won't take them back and you paid by Credit Card, you still have an out. Just tell them you'll dispute the charge and they'll probably take them back. But what do they sell you'll put on? Michelin Latitudes are the OEM tire. And they're pretty decent BTW .
