It's all plug and play. You won't get any error messages or hyperflashing. The taillights have built in resistors in them.

These taillights look very nice, and seem to have a fair enough price. I would go for the chrome ones, less showy than the smoked ones, but classy ... apart from the colour, I am a bit doubtful about the fact that (apparently) the catadioptric surfaces on the reflector sides are missing... the retro reflectors are useful when the car is parked, to avoid that somebody distracted hits your car.
See the comparison picture below (thanks Kingy68)

I'm really liking the "euro-tube lighting". Looks factory.

I liked the smoked ones, but at the end I went for the "Chrome" setup, close enough to the OEM style, just a connoisseur can tell the difference. And I am happy of my choice. although I see room for improvement of these aftermarket tail lights. Below my evaluation:
PROS
- all LED setup
- distinctive style, more evident during night
- nice enough finish (but the OEM quality looks better)
- the stop lights are extended on the hatchback (a plus for the safety)
CONS
- the reflectors on the sides are gone, replaced by parking lights; thankfully there are other reflectors in the fog lights assembly, otherwise my car would have lost its compliance with local regulations
- the turn lights could have been bigger, (a minus for the safety)
- with daylight the parking lights are less visible than OEM (not a big deal here the parking lights are used only as position lamps.) Probably it is an issue of the chrome setup only.
Now, some picture...

Hey guys,
Decided to import one from Japan for my '11 RX450h, personally I think it looks great.. compared with the old "altezza" clear tail light

Finally getting around to sharing the pics of my installed Meteo lights from www.thespeedline.com. At around $330.00 they were hard to pass up. I have received many compliments and they look amazing at night!
