I've noticed that some RX's has the low beam projectors on the interior side of the housing and on some, it's the halogen high beams instead on the interior side of the housing.

Can someone explain why the difference on what appears to be same vehicle?

And the reason for that is the HID's only burn constant with one intensity. It's always bright and works with a shutter which comes up for low beam and covers part of the bulb. Working that way they're expected to last the lifetime of the car.
