Looking for an RX for my wife. Ive gotten pricing on the following and wondering if its fair or should I try to go lower:

MSRP - $47,134
Quote before fees/tax - $41,999
OTD - $44,978 (tax in TX is 6.25%)

This includes
Premium Package w/ Blind Sport, Park Assist, Heated & Ventilated Seats, Towing Prep Package, 19" wheels, Preferred Accessory Package, Wood & Leather trimmed Steering Wheel

Thoughts?

Yours is a better deal comparing to mine. I have less option (no blind spot, no wheels) quoted at $41,499 (MSRP 45,694). So I have to say it looks fair I guess keep going lower until they are unwilling.

I dealt with Johnson Lo and Omar Jimenez. I bought it at the end of June 2014.

I will try to get lower than 41k, if not I will offer for navigation if that give me the best value for my money.

Longo, Newport and Cerritos are the ones giving me low bids. All the other place won't give me a price over email only they say the can beat 41k if I come in. Haven't tried Carlsbad.
Yes, mine had navigation.

Most dealers will say that they will beat if you come in. Just be firm that you need it in writing if not you're going with the other dealer. Carlsbad didn't give it in writing but they beat my lowest bid by $200. Other dealers scoff at the numbers I was throwing at them. You need to be firm and know what others' had paid and try to get to that number as close as possible.

Also, I forgot to mention Valencia gave a low bid as well. They and Longo had the lowest bid and Carlsbad beat them.

Go with prestige or route 10. I got same offer with both of 44999. If you are above 44999 you have to pay extra .4 percent in luxury tax in new jersey. Prestige has a lower document fee. Oh, msrp is 50254 here in New Jersey

Final price was $42,550

Includes: navigation package, premium package, parking assist, wheel locks, wood trims, cargo mat, cross bar, 19" wheels, cargo net

Horror stories usually comes from negotiating the price with the sales from any dealership. It's a dance off. If you already negotiate the best and final price with the internet sales team, then all you do when you go to a dealership is pick out a car and sign papers. I always get the best number from the internet sales person before I head to the dealership. When I get to the dealership, we dont' talk about price but usually the add-ons. Always skip the add-ons.

Carlsbad treated us really nice. I would recommend them. YMMV. Ask for Johnson Lo or Omar.

I just bought a 2015 RX at Sewell Lexus in Dallas. The MSRP was $47,134. I got it for $42,892 plus $549. They tinted the front windows, added pinstripe and door edge guards for the $549. Sewell doesn’t have internet sales for new cars to my knowledge, so I dealt with the regular sales team. I pushed to get this price. I could tell they weren’t excited about it. Has anyone had good luck getting Sewell to negotiate aggressively? Do you think I did ok? I am female and did this on my own.

I think their max is 48000. I tried myself. ended up paying 48,450. I was told by 3 dealers that the F sport goes quick and they have no trouble selling it.

Why do the biggest discounts seem to be in California and Texas?

I'm in the market for Lexus RX 350 for my wife. I month ago I got myself a GS for extremely good price d/t to the fact I found good numbers on GS forum and the dealership honor the deal. I'm specifically interested in lease numbers on 2015 RX350 AWD with Navi. If someone can share they number here or want to send me pm I would appreciate it. The best so far I got is $1500 out of pocket, $518 dollars a month.
Thanks,
Alex!
