Question DIY scheduled service? Warranty?

After seeing what Lexus wanted to charge for my 15,000 mile service, I am looking at farming it out, or doing it myself. The major components being a tire rotation, key fob battery change and all around checks.
1. Exactly what does Lexus require to satisfy the four year warranty conditions?
2. Do I need receipts showing that all work, including checks was accomplished?
3. How can I nullify the maintenance reminder on the dash?
4. Do the key fob batteries really only last a year or so?

1. Check the owner's manual. You can check-this, check-that or rotate tires yourself.

2. Keep receipts for scheduled maintenance items but don't worry about the check-this, check-that or tire rotation.

3. Check the owner's manual.

4. Key fob batteries should last several years with normal use.

I've been maintaining my vehicles myself for the most part.
The great thing about Toyota/Lexus is that you almost never have to use warranty for anything major.

If you fail to rotate the tires and the engine dies, it will not void the warranty. If the oil wasn't changed on-time or the proper level wasn't maintained, then that's a whole different story.

If you set the odometer to Trip A, then restart the vehicle while holding the ODO button, a few seconds later the reminder will reset for the next 5,000 miles.

I traded our Prius after more than 2 years of ownership. The batteries were still going strong. Worst thing that will happen if the battery dies, you will have to use the mechanical key from the fob. Then put the fob next to the start button to start the vehicle.
