A cover for a 2010-2012 will work. The newer 13's and 14's will lock into place, but the loose side of the cover that attaches to the rear of the rear seats will have different clips to hold it in place. These clips only help cover about 15% of the rear area anyway, so the main part of the cover will work just fine. The pre 2010 RX350's are completely different and won't work.

So along the main body of the cover..the ends are the same? I'm not too interested in the loose sides but its a bonus if i find one that exactly fits my year.

Yep. All 2010 and never covers have the same ends, and lock into place.

It is supposed to come with it. It can't be certified without it. Make the dealer get one for you.

He didn't say anything about being certified.

Good catch. I read "pre-owned" and my brain pre-attached the word certified, by association. To the OP. I you have to get one yourself. Get one from an 11 or above, as I lve been told by my service advisor, that the ones from the 10 have an inherent rattle that was fixed in later years.

The '13 makes a little noise but I wouldn't call it a rattle. It's only over rough bumps and when extended it makes a small flapping noise, but I consider that normal.

Some people complained about noise from the cover and wound up removing it. But I haven't experienced any problems.

If you bought from your Lexus from the dealer march right back and demand for one. It's supposed to come with the car.
