Starfire Pearl or Satin Cashmere Metallic?
We're about to purchase a 2014 RX 450h and still trying to decide on the exterior color (interior will be Parchment).
Will either color offer advantages or disadvantages for maintenance? Will one show dirt or nicks worse than the other? (We don't wash our cars very often.) |
In my experience, I'd say those are two of the easiest colors to maintain (silver as well, if you're so inclined), so in terms of care, I don't think you can go wrong, though perhaps a slight nod to cashmere for hiding dirt.
However, I'd go for Starfire Pearl. I think the parchment goes well with it, and it seems to stand out a bit more on the road. |
Starfire Pearl really pops out in bright lighting and sun. Very rich looking with its depth.

Love my cashmere with parchment!

I have the silver lining metallic, which hides dirt pretty well.
Nicks and dings, not so much, ( previous cars were silver) Is cashmere the " champagne" colored one? If that's the case, my vote is on the starfire pearl |
Yes, "cashmere" is similar to what used to be called "champagne."
I like the silver, but really wanted the Parchment interior. Silver doesn't come with Parchment. |

I like the silver, but really wanted the Parchment interior. Silver doesn't come with Parchment. But i settled with the light gray interior for a silver lining metallic The cashmere, blue and the matador red ( there's a new name for the 2013/2014) are the exclusive colors. I don't see a lot of them on the road. The white ( starfire pearl), black ( obsidian and stargazer) and my silver are the top 3 colors bought. Good luck with your search. |
