Default A couple recent pics of the RX

Pics taken a couple hours ago. Backed the RX out of the garage to take a look at the new LED DRL's I installed this afternoon. Looks pretty good IMO.

Nice looking white RX. I've always been partial to white vehicles. One question. What the heck is that double tube chrome thing hanging off the back of your RX? I was hoping that it simply plugged into your receiver hitch and could be removed when you didn't need to clear the driveway of bicycles, big-wheels and small children. Upon further investigation, I see from the shadow on the ground that is actually mounted to the vehicle in a somewhat permanent fashion. Not the most attractive accessory in my opinion. I suppose it would come in handy if you needed a push.

Thanks, that tube is a bumper guard. I live in NYC, Brooklyn to be more specific. People here do not give a single damn when they park, they hit cars left and right. Two weeks ago my friend from across the street got whole driver side of his G37 scratched, someone went too close to it, and a month ago, neighbor from downstairs put his 2011 LS by the building, someone scratched his driver side front bumper completely, and that to be honest sucks. I was skeptical about it at first and then someone scratched me too, so i decided to put a guard. This double blade is actually pretty unnoticeable, other guards are big as hell and i dont like that. Im not a fan of guards because they ruing car's look, but they better ruin just the look, rather than someone ruining my whole bumper. It is sad that people are so careless, but whatever i cant do anything about it, but try to protect my car to the max. Better car with guards than with destroyed bumpers. Some people put those guards that go for RAM which is pretty ugly, sope put those rubber kind of things hanging out of the trunk and thats ugly too, this might not be the most attractive feature but maybe the best one they have in the market as of now i believe.

P.S. See it does not stand out too much.

I can appreciate your need for protection from the bump-parkers. Your right, the guards don't stick out too far. I feel for you living in an urban environment and trying to drive a nice vehicle.

Took the pics this bright sunny morning after a wash a couple days ago! Love the way the Nebula Gray Pearl reflects different tones of darker and lighter grays.

Thanks to the bug splatter, I now have a reason to polish this beauty up again

Default F Sport in Deep Sea Mica

I am sitting at the dealer getting my 5000 miles Complimentary Oil change and Tire Rotation.
All is well with the RX, it is getting 21.5 MPG for the first 5K which is very good considering my wife does not go on the Interstate.
I really like the F Sport, the styling, the firmer ride, and the performance is surprising in a small luxury SUV.
I really like the 8 speed transmission, it is a game changer......gm

WOW. Don't know if it's the angle, lighting, or just the darn color, but Deep Sea Mica is STUNNING on the RX F-Sport
