I aqree with them; NO HP raise; just handling and a couple of gears; glad I didn't have a choice last may; I would have regretted it; like C&D I have driven a GTO for 10 years and Corvettes and would have been dissapointed in the"F"!!

Interested to see how reviews vary.

Some says ride is harsh and they say:

"We also were impressed with the F Sport’s ride quality, which sops up road irregularities without the Hovercraft feel of a 1955 Buick.".

To be fair to Lexus, this is not an RX-F, you cannot expect a power upgrade when it is not a performance vehicle. This is an RX F-Sport, similiar to BMW's M - Sport or even Audi's S-Line. Non of the BMW and Audi sport models have a performance upgrade, so why would you expect the Lexus F Sport line to? Fair enough if it was an RX-F because then you could complain that it isn't any faster compared to the likes of the BMW X5M which has 555hp but to be honest, the reviews are just nitpicking at an awesome car. No wonder it sells so much.

Agreed. Also, nice to see Car & Driver enjoyed the ride comfort contrary to popular reviews and I couldn't agree more.

Aside from a slight tendency to pogo over successive bumps, the ride of the RX is impressively comfortable. "

This is confusing. Mine is about half an inch lower than the standard RX. I know this because I went to the dealer looking for a GS250 for the mrs. I parked next to a standard RX and mine was noticeably lower.

Rayaans, in N.America, the F-Sport is 66.7 in tall without the roof rack, same as regular RX. I believe the 450h version F-Sport the rest of the world offers may have an adjustable ride height feature making it lower. Can you confirm this and your vehicle's official height?

I measured mine tonight very accurately. It came at 65.8 inches off the ground.

Thanks rayaans. Interesting yours is slightly lower and also as to what is advertised. The SE, Luxury, Premier, and F-Sport all have the same height as per the UK website specs, showing 1685 mm (66.4 in). In both Canada and US web sites, the measurement is 1695 mm (66.7in). Different tire brands and tread depths would not account for 10 mm difference so I'm stumped.

I veered off here a little on the main topic of this thread, but just find this all to be intriguing and wonder if there are suspension tuning/height differences (and thus ride/handling differences) depending on the market.

Yes I was rather confused as to why the car was lower. I asked my dealer and he said that the UK Lexus vehicles are slightly lowered to make them handle better. He said that the specification given is the one from the factory. At the factory the height of all RX's will be 66.4 - 66.9 inches, no more, no less, otherwise it WILL be sorted out. He said further that the cars in the UK were lowered before delivery.

Anyway, here is another RX F Sport review which I completely agree with. Its almost as if I wrote it
