My leather had turned blue because of the jeans, too. Then I searched on the internet and found that people suggested Collinite 855. So I tried and it worked very well. Easily removed the blue from jeans and did not hurt the leather. Maybe you can try it.

I guess each manufacturer does things differently. Mercedes covers the cracked or torn leather and MB Tex (leatherette) during warranty period.....Not sure about BMWs.
