I removed the hooks a month or so ago without any problem. The Weathertech liners do not move around so there's no problem with them impeding the gas or brake pedals.

They now reside in the basement along with the carpeted floor mats, glove compartment shelf, tonneau cover and everything else I saved for the next owner.
