Rear passenger side door - something is loose
our 2013 RX 350 that we've had since new has this problem: the rear passenger side door has had something come loose or break within the door. It is quite pronounced when going over small bumps. any thoughts on the problem OR is there a video anywhere on disassembling the inside door panel? this rattle of sorts is driving us crazy. thanks

Do the door lock work properly? Does the window operate normally?
Check youtube and if you cannot find one for the RX be advised that the procedure will be very similar for almost any other Lexus or Toyota vehicle. There are general designs they all share. There will be screws, some hidden in the armrest and door handle area. You will then need to pull the panel away from the door with your hands or some plastic trim removal tools which you can get at Amz or HarborFreight. Watch the plastic tabs as some may break or fly away. Then there will be some wires to the controls etc and plastic sheeting over the door to remove. It will be a learning experience. Or take it to a body shop or car stereo shop and ask them to look inside the door.

Once you go past the process of removing the panel [I have not done it for 3rd gen but typically the procedure is remove screws then start snapping the plastic/nylon snaps from the bottom towards the top.]
Please be careful with the plastic liner, it is glued with a polymer which softens with temperature ... in cold climate you may have to use hair dryer to make it playable while removing and re-sealing. If you are lucky you will be able to identify what is rattling, but in most cases you have to make an educated guess or even drive around with the panel hanging inside. Get your self some soft sponge to wrap or line items. Remember not to tie them so hard that they become useless.
Lastly, take some pictures as you go through the process and post them here.
