Hi guys.. sorry I've tried the search function without success. Is there a DIY for my new 2013 RX350 to hardwire my Passport radar detector? So far I absolutely LOVE the way this thing rides. Traded in my wife's little BMW convertible. Have had 8 (or 9?) BMWs and this is my first Lexus. So far I'm really impressed with the comfort, build quality, and - surprisingly - the handling. I expected body roll and a 'grandma ride' but that's not been the case at all. A wonderful driving car (especially for a FWD )

Thanks in advance for any pointers. We got an Obsidian with beige interior, Comfort Package, Premium Package, Nav, Remote Start, 19s, blah blah... didn't get HUD or rear entertainment... mainly because they didn't have one with them at the dealer.

Wife has wanted one for 10 years, so I surprised her with it last week. Not a bad day at all!

Curious on your success.
I just got a 2013 450h and want to hardwire my Escort. I also have the remote extension cord (with button to turn off the beeping) that I had wired (in prior 4Runner) to fuse box under the dash. (The remote is more convenient than reaching up to detector.) I then ran the wire up the pillar to connect to detector that hung from visor.
I have to locate the fuse box in the 450h to maybe do the same

Maybe other ideas?
