How do I post car details and photo in signature area in post?

Go to "User CP" (on left of bar under heading). On the left under settings are options for "signature". You can also change your Avatar, etc as desired using other options in the control panel.

I think you need so many posts before the system will allow you to have a signature. I don't have a signature option, everything else is filled in but it doesn't display. I received a notice yesterday saying I needed something like 30 posts for the first month (just signed up with Club Lexus recently). I could be wrong.

Very true. I can never find those "new member limitations" (just tried to find them again, with no luck), but remember it's there in several places... Some of the CP options, pictures, etc. are limited as Cruizer1 indicates and won't go away until you have more posts (25 or 30, I also think) or possibly calendar time goes by...

Gary, welcome to C/L. Yep, it was the same for everyone. Most started participating prior to getting their car and were able to post photos even from the dealership. You'l get there, just hang in and tell us about your ride and experiences. Shoot some photos so you can post them when eligible. Glad you're here .

MachineMan, having recently crossed over from Driver School Candidate to Rookie I believe the rules were that you had to make 30 (?) posts within the preceeding 30 days before the restrictions are removed. It took a week or 10 days after meeting the qualification to get upgraded, then you can see additional options in the User CP that let you create the signature and some other stuff. You should see a page when you login that starts out something like "If you are seeing this page then you have not met the qualifications." (Or something like that.) It also says why the restrictions were put in place. Hang in there!

That's right...I am also waiting for my turn to complete my 30 posts in 30 days....
