You probably made the right choice in getting the RX over the JEEP. I just bought a 2012 RX350, and previiously bought a 2011 JEEP Grand Cherokee (essentially the same as the 2012). The fit and finish and initial quality control is much better on my Lexus as opposed to the JEEP. I guess one would expect this, and, yes, it does vary by individual cars. Chrysler/JEEP are trying to make a comeback and they have made progress, but they have a ways to go, in my opinion.
After comparing between the two, I looked at them more closely. I looked at the tailgates on the inside and found that the Jeep's workmanship was a bit poor. You could definitely see the parts welded but they didn't do anything to cover it up to give it a nice fit and finish. Near the rear lights you could see an opening, a gap because they didn't close it off properly. I checked with all the cars and everyone of them had it.

Not the F Sport, but it's got the appearance package. I looked at other fellow member's pics and it's different. From the side profile the normal one is slanted in. Mine is like the F Sport, straight down.

Thank you!
I keep looking at the front when I get out of the car!
I love the saddle tan as well, looks good with the grey exterior. My first RX was the beige interior and it sucked because my jeans would get on it.

Well the interior shot with that mat looks bad now that I look at it!

Thank you all for your kind words. I am loving the car every time I look at it and ride it. Love the adaptive lights, HUDs!
Today is day 3 with the car, I tried on the ventilated seats, cooled to level 3 but I don't really find it "cool". Wondering if this just takes time since it's still new, or if there's something wrong with it.

The "Sport Appearance" Package on the RX450h and RX350 FWD has 19" wheels and F-Sport front bumper/grille.

So after going through some few threads....is the F-Sport version coming out in August or is it already out? I believe I saw one few weeks back but now I think about it it maybe the "Sport Appearance" if the "F-Sport" is not out yet.

Original announcement said "this summer". Dealers pretty much talked about "August" at that time. Some reports in other threads of the first ones being sighted.
