Rear Passenger Door Unlock from outside
Hi All.
How do I get the rear passenger door to unlock from outside the vehicle by pulling the door handle like the front door without pressing the unlock button on the remote?
Or even the front passenger door for that matter?

I haven't tried it yet, but I thought you could configure the performance of the unlock feature to open just the drivers/passengers door or all doors. Perhaps you could set the front door to unlock all doors and open that door then just open the rear door.

OP, not sure what model year you have. I'll assume a 2013 for my response below.
Right, you need to change an option to unlock all doors when you unlock one of the front ones. See p984 "smart door unlocking": http://drivers.lexus.com/t3Portal/do.../sec_06-02.pdf. Default is drivers door only. There is only a sensor in the front door handles, so you will have to touch one of them first to unlock all 4, or use the key fob button to do the same.

You can't just go up to the rear door and expect it to unlock like the front ones as they don't have the sensors or whatever. only the front two doors allow you to open the car.
