Default 2012 OTD prices...check this out

Have a client looking at a 2012 RX350. MSRP on the car is $49,117...

The dealer of course comes back with a BS number @ MSRP $49,117, disc. $1,751 adding sales tax, tags and fees of $738 gives yo an out the door figure of $48,104.

Whats a REALISTIC out the door price on this car? Based on my searches I am seeing up to $4,500 off....

We all know they want to get rid of the 2012's.

Thanks!

Deals and prices can vary around the country. Here is CA a good deal right now would be $5,000 + off, plus $1,000 loyalty discount for an existing Lexus owner, plus low financing (0% short-term, .9% longer term). Your negotiating skills will determine how much over $5,000 you can get off.

CA gets all the best deals and are currently getting around 5 k off 2012, and 2500 off 2013.

Being in SC, you might have to be willing to get much less. Try emailing around and get multiple offers.

For example on the east coast, the best deal I can find for a 2013 rx is 1k off.

Live outside of Philly. Purchased in DE, sticker was 49,600 went out the door for 45k. I prob could have done another 1,000 off but we went back to where we bought our ES. Hassle-free, haggle free. Got 0.9% too, so I was happy. Went to three other Lexus dealers in the area. Quotes 48k, 46,600 and 46,500. we are happy, love the car.

A 2013 similarly packaged was 48k. A new grille and being able to make reservations on OpenTable while sitting at a light wasn't worth and extra 3k to us. Not only that, losing the AFS was considered.

Besides, if I want reservations, I call Enform.

Good points. I didn't think of it like that.
