I know i agree. I could have gotten a medical exemption from my optometrist which would have allowed me to go darker. My eyes are sensitive to bright lights and its sometimes hard to drive in the early morning hours or evening hours when the sun is right in your face. In the end I decided that I didn't what to deal with all that and stuck to the legal limit up front.
