Shopping around for a 2012 Lexus RX 350 in Toronto, Canada

Hello All,

I have been reading this forum for the past few months and I am really learning a lot about this vehicle.... Keep up the good work!

I am now actively shopping for a great deal on a 2012 "Premium 2" package model in the Toronto, Canada, area.

- Can anyone share in their experience and pricing for what they paid?
- I also want to purchase an ECP (8/160) - who much are you paying for this?
- Does anyone have a recent Car Cost Canada report to show current factory to dealer incentives? I know there is a current cash rebate of $5000 through Lexus Canada.

Thanks in advance,

Future RX 350 owner

I used carsaver.ca. It's free and it was spot on for dealer cost

I have a Premium 2 in Quebec, 2010 model which I bought in Sept 2009. At the time I guess there was a lot of demand as it just came out. I cant remember the price I paid, but I do remember it was the price stated on the internet minus $1500 bucks.

Im never buying in Canada again, next time around Im buying in USA. For all the money we pay here, the Premium 2 doesnt even have navigation. Buy a demo in USA (dealers arent allowed to sell you new), I think youll be able to get the equivalent of the Canadian Touring model in USA for about $5000 less than the Premium 2 price you are willing to pay in Canada. And no duty as its made in Canada, just HST which you have to pay anyway.

I was able to get $2900 on top of the $4000 cash incentive last spring. They will make around 6K if selling the car at full MSRP, so there is definitely some room to negotiate.

Thanks for the information. I suspect negotiation of the 2012 will be easier once the 2013 models show up in at the dealers....

If there is anyone out there who recently bought a 2012 in my area I would love to here from you.
