receipt says only 29.55mpg (439.9miles/14.783gallons=29.55)

but i stop pumping after the handle clicks off, so i don't always get a full refill, it all averages out

Were you hypermiling or just going downhill for 300 miles? :D

had to look up the term hypermiling, turns out i'm guilty

article mentioned a burn-and-coast method which i used quite a bit on this last tank

accelerated on the uphills & coasted down

also never exceeded 55mph

didn't do any drafting, that seems too dangerous

And on regular I see. That's awesome.
