OK ... here is possibly a stupid question ... what was the motivation for replacing the bulbs?

Because we can, LOL.

LED lights look whiter and cleaner than the OE bulbs. It's more aesthetically pleasing to the eye. It's relatively simple to change them out. It's one small way to differentiate yourself from other RXs on the road. Just a few things that come to mind. I'm sure 2K11 will have more. BTW I'm glad you changed your mind about the blinkers. They look sharp.

Well Anita up there pretty much sum it up the answer for me , most important thing is led and hid make your car look more classier if u done it the right way ..

While on the bulbs topic,

Does anyone know where I can buy the LED daytime running lights for the RX350? Also, the door/interior lights as well.

Are they hard to install or was it all via owners' manual?

Other than getting the 9005 DRL Hi power led x2 with decoder through your friend, any idea where I find purchase these bad boys online? I've checked several places online and none of them look like yours.

I tried both LED DRLs from ijdmtoy and from Vleds and I ended up gettin the ones from Vleds because I didn't need the decoders and its a little bit brighter. Plus I like the fact that you can choose betweek 5K and 6K. I went with the 5K bulbs because they looked more white and the ijdmtoy bulbs were 6K and had a tinge of blue. Check my previous post for the comparision. They are a bit pricey but I'm a firm believer of "you get what you pay for" Hope this helps!

So I am guessing you do not have high beams any more. Just the DRL gets brighter, nothing like the original high beams. At least that is what happened to me on the 2011 RX450H

No, that's not the case for me. I have a 2011 rx350 with the comfort pkg. My hid double as hi and low beams. I have a dedicated drl bulb. On the 450 if u have the led headlights then yes. This is most likely the reason kitlz have halogen replacements if I'm not mistaken and not led.

Yes, I stayed with halogen since my DRLs (9005) are also the high beams with the LED headlights. The Litech bulbs in there now are great as high beams but only a tad whiter than OE DRL. Hey, I'll take any improvement.

here are the red turn signal made a huge different at night and it actually blend in with the stock led


reverse light in 6k look so good at night make me wanna change out the stock license plate bulb if is possible
