If English is not his/her first language, this person is doing much better then I would be in any other language. Having said that, there are programs like ieSpell or Spell Check that work well and would solve this issue.

This thread has shifted from a deer incident to a "Rosetta stone" endorsement.
Nowadays, even people who were born and raised here ( US) seem to forget simple grammar construction.
Whether it's text speech or hip hop lingo I don't have a clue what they're saying.

I agree. But for a person, whose English may not be his first language, is sure doing well being able to afford a Lexus.
you are right is not how well i can't spell...i am trying very hard to do this .i am from another country and english is not my first language.... if you guys don,t welcome people that don't write that well it is very shallow... and by the way you don't have to speak or write that well to be a millionaire....

(I don't text) Admittedly, I am an "old fart" but the incorrect spelling, incorrect or lack of punctuation, lack of capitalization, and the use of some weird contractions is just too difficult to read and comprehend. I enjoy your posts, but I would even enjoy them more if they were easier to read.
maybe you are a smart a---- i am from another country. i would love to see you trying to speak another language..... remember we are here to talk about the car and not me if you don't like the post don't read it....

Do you have pics? I'm curious what constitutes $2500 worth of damage. Did the damage extend to the suspension? I ask this because of the alignment statement. Sorry for asking details, but having investigated mishaps in the past, $2500 was a HUGE amount of repairs back in the day...like to see what $2500 gets you nowadays; just new plastic bumper?

8901alex, sorry to hear about your 450h. I hope no one was hurt other than the deer.

Please don't take some of the remarks made here personally. English is one of the hardest languages to learn. I think you're doing a pretty good job. Welcome to CL and let us know how the repair goes on your RX.

I am really sorry if I started something that has offended anyone. That was ABSOLUTELY not my intent. I tried to use language that would show that it was not my intent. It is just difficult to read what I refer to as text speak. 8901alex, as I said earlier, since English is not you primary language your are doing great and much better than I would do under similar circumstances. I will look forward to your future posts.

cafpaf: I +1'd your earlier post, and I agree with your post above, as well. As I surmised earlier, it was a case of English not being the original poster's first language (it's not mine, either, but that's irrelevant.) I shared your point that the posts were very difficult to read - they were detracting from the "message" because of the way they were written. If you look at 8901alex's post in this thread from 9:36AM yesterday, he CAN write very well, when he tries.

8901alex: thanks, and well done.

X Men, thanks for the help. Now I know why I do not text. As I tell my Grandchildren, "If you want to talk to me just call. Don't Text!" As I said earlier, I am and "Old Fart."
