Default Cover on Dash in front of Nav Screen

I noticed a glare on the metal surface at the top of the dash in front of the Nav Screen. I have fabricated a cover out of "vinyl" from the fabric shop. Take a look, if I can get the pic to post. I stuck it down with a few double backed tape patches.

I'm sure you'd rather us be honest with you. That looks like 'not factory'. Sorry

It looks tacky. You can see the inked outline. I don't notice the glare at all with mine.

I'm glad someone beat me to the punch on this one. I don't think I would have been that kind.

To be honest, please take it off. It's protected but not that good looking one.
My 2 cents

We do not notice the glare on ours either.

I don't notice a glare either....but did notice a huge scratch on the clear plastic screen the other day. Which was not put there by myself. Must have been the guys that half *** detailed it before I picked it up. Anyone have any ideas for scratch repair, let me know!

I drove a '11 RX loaner for a day & I DID notice a glare. I realize that it was for only one day & that isn't enough to rate it but it was a problem for me.

Maybe a better piece of fabric or whatever is the answer.

I plan on a '12 RX later this year & hope this isn't a big issue for us.

RGSW - I am sorry but that looks horrible, I haven't had any glare issues with my Navi. It stays pretty sunny here in Cali.

I think he did the one post and we scared him off. Sorry if we did but jeez, was something to be proud of before but not after.

Oh well, I've made my share of errors in my own life. Learned well from a couple too
