In fact, they are responsible for the difference in horsepower giving the (h) a total of 295 hp.

Ahh. I stand corrected.

I usually don't feel the transition from electric to gas unless I'm trying to "feel" it.

Yeah, I knew it was responsible for the horsepower increase compared to non-hybrid models, but didn't know that the electric motors work at highway speeds as well. < I learn a new thing everyday. haha

MPG is always subjective to various condition. its cold outside so check your tire pressure to OEM spec or slightly higher[1-2 psi]. warming your engine in idle is bad for MPG and enviornment. winter formula always decrease 1-2 MPG. I am averaging 20MPG as stated by EPA in mix driing but if you are driving in bumper-2-bumper traffic, 16MPG sounds like normal in inner cities.

Have about 300 miles driven in my wife's new RX 350. So far it averages about 20 to 21 MPG mixed city/highway miles.

I was hitting around 21 with mixed driving. Now I am doing great. 32+ mpgs!!! Of course that is because the RX is now in the back of the stable and the Miata has come out to play for the season.

Last night I refueled the 350 and it made me $70 poorer (for 323 miles). The average is about 19.5 MPG now. On the side note, my 450h can EASILY get over 29 mpg.

The first picture is city driving after fuel up. The second picture is highway driving (65-75 mph) after 60 miles.

my 2011 RX 350 get's 19 on the city and 23-24 on the highway.
i have switched to regular unleaded (87) and noticed to difference.
i guess members confuse the decrease in hp vs mpg.
Using 87 vs 91+ gasoline, in my opinion decreases the Horse power by 4
with little to no effect to the mpg.

i have 6,000 on my odometer.

Here is my last consumption in L/100km (France) with winter tires.
It was at the end of a trip on motorway (130km/h or legal speed limit)
The last line is 10l/100 km limit and the last 15minutes was from motorway toll gate to home/garage

Another picture with a mix between city drive and small roads around city some days before

I now have 9000KMs and am averaging around 7 liters per 100K (34mog us) in the city. My Highway numbers work out to about 9 liters per 100k.

I am interested with fresh oil and warmer temps what changes will be achieved. I use 87 fuel and do not try and hypermile even though my driving habbits have changed.

Default 2012 rx350 mpg

I am getting 21 MPG on my 2012 RX350. That is city driving on regular fuel. It has 700 miles on it and I have had it for 60 days.
