Just run a convert on L/100KM to MPG and see if the number matches US gallons when you switch between the two.

I did a quick check on my Canadian model RX350, and it appears to show
Imperial mpg. 10.4 L/100km displays as 27.2 mpg, which according to the
online calculator I checked should be imperial mpg.
