Default Ashtray for RX 350 2010

Does any body know where I can get ashtray for the RX350 2010 which will fit into the central console beverage well and will not obstruct sliding lid from closing?

RXSF, do you know anybody who bought this item? I tried to get one from the dealer, but ashtray (part #74102-02140) I was given did not allowed me to close compartment lid. Do you think that dealer gave me wrong part with the right label?

The compartment will not close with the cup ashtray in it. I have the one in the picture, got it from Sewell.

woops, sorry I didnt read the part about needing the lid to close, nor did I know that one may exist.

its a pretty shallow area...you might just need to cut a paper cup in half, haha

Talking Mini cooper ash tray

Not sure about the 2010 RX, I have a second gen. But I had my ash tray problem solved before I ever bought my 07 RX350. My fiancé lost her 2009 mini cooper and I kept the ash tray from her car as a keepsake. When I got my RX it had no ash tray.

I was delighted to discover that not only can the mini's ash tray fit in the center console and allow the cup holder to close shut... But the shape of the ash tray also allows it to sit comfortably in the smaller cup holder on the driver's side.

There's a little tray you can buy to put change in the middle console. It's smaller than the one you probably have in there now.

I have no trays or anything inside my center console. I bought it used so im guessing the first owner took them out or lost them. I also don't have the first aid kit and the rear cargo net. I did buy the cargo net though. Do you know where i can get one of those trays?

Have you stuck your hand down that black hole called the middle console to check Sewell probably carries it. There are two trays, one specifically for coins, the other is larger. It might be worth getting the bigger one so it can be used for multiple things. I keep my iPod there.

Funny you asked, my lady swore up and down the ashtray was a "coin tray" since that is what she used it for--but it is an ashtray, with a little extinguishing lip inside the cup and all...

Lol...I bought my RX used and the previous owner took out the coin and iPod tray so I have no where to keep my loose change. Is it big enough to keep change in?

The bigger tray is large. I have space all around the iPod when I leave it there. Lexus added the change tray late in the 2010 models so there's a chance your RX didn't come with it. You'll be fine with the bigger tray.

I found a long/ small tray like thing that seems like it would hold a roll of quarters. Is that one of the trays ur talking about? It was in the glove box behind the manuals.
