Default LED Parking Lights

This is the end of the modding for the RX and last order from V-Leds for a little bit haha.

Purchased the 5000k 5led bulb for parking lights, and installed it in 5 minutes.
I went with this one because the 13 led bulb was too big to fit.

Don't think a DIY with pics is necessary for this. Once you find the bulb, rotate it counterclockwise to remove it, replace filament bulb with new led one and test to make sure polarity is correct, and them reinstall.

Didn't do any before pictures because I just wanted to install them. Finished product, even though pics don't do it justice haha.

Last two pictures look identical, but the very last one is looking more straight into the led.

Very happy with it, it fills the area quite nicely and since the plastic isn't clear, it has the diffused look and disperses the light very evenly. Matches the 5000k lows perfectly. Very happy and mom loves it!

If people need a DIY I can make one, just let me know.
Enjoy!

Since getting this idea from Japan's mod shops, I love the way it presents and would like to make this happen. Thanks for these information. To me, I believe this mod is much easier than the LED Puddle Lamps'.

This one was easiest of the lighting mods I've done to the RX
From Hardest to Easiest, I would have to say it goes:
HID Fogs
LED Puddle Lamps
HID Lows
LED Parking Lights and High Beams/DRLs

My DRLs look close to stock, just a bit less yellow. I'm running Sylvania SilverStar Ultra, I didn't want to lose functionality of high beams.

Yep, this is how they normally go. No need to unnecessarily power on the leds during the day since it's barely noticeable. Looks great at night tho!

Nice!
I'm going to order these LEDs and the ones for the puddle lights.
Have you done any interior dome, map lights bulb changes to get rid of that yellow look?

Very interesting.
Same quality?
I'm kind if on the fence with a LED changeover because of the fade out that LEDs can't do like bulbs.

I haven't changed any interior lights, I like the soft lighting and don't want to have the intense interior lights that would further strain my eyes or blind me/make it easier for others outside to see inside. I have tint on for a reason. haha

There are some softer leds, but I like the interior to look oem.

JDKANE,

Are you planning to do sidemarkers in the future?. According to V LED website, they're the same bulbs as parking lights. Not sure if the side markers are in same housing as turn signal...not taken any of things apart. Just being curious as to how easy those marker lights are. Great write ups.

What do you mean by sidemarkers? The turn signals on the mirrors? I don't have any other plans really for the RX. Saving up to do big mods to the IS, wheels + kit.
