I don't have night shots yet but this is how they look. The 1st shot is drivers side off showing the similarity between H/L cover and fog light lens (for those that don't know, the (h) model has blue tinted h/l and tail light lens's). The 2nd shot is both fogs on w/filter. I have to say it looks pretty good in the daylight. I'll get night shots when the weather is more cooperative. It would have taken a total of about 20 min but with getting the material and cleaning the lens 1st and taking pictures it took a little longer.

I have to say the film is actually thick enough to be protective (I think). I hope I don't ever find out it wasn't but so far looks like a good deal. It doesn't appear to dim the light at all, just change the color temp to a better match.

Also the (h) models have a chrome inner ring around the fogs.

This link http://picasaweb.google.com/USNCruit...qP5aqE-uy6twE# has additional pictures. The 1st one is head on with new filter on drivers side fog, natural on passenger. Night shots are one just the car lights and one with flash (I just shot them in a hurry). I should have driven around a while 1st because I'm pretty sure the HID's pick up a little bluer hue after they get warmed up good. Compared to the new fog filtered light in the photos the HID's look slightly green but that's less than a minute from when I cranked them up.

Over all, I like the filters and the idea of the protection from road debris.
Note: When in the link, select the 'slide show' option and they'll appear full size with captions.

Joeb, I know covers or films on headlights are illegal in NJ. Do you know if fog lights are included? Might be a moot point though since we're dropping safety inspection in August. But it'd be good to know just in case.

I don't know but I would think the fogs wouldn't be a problem.I went with clear but I wouldn't worry if I was to go with the blue or yellow.

Tried it.... here's what I got: •Coupon code "10off" is not valid.

Maybe they're closed for the weekend? I'll try another day. Thanks though.

After I ordered mine, I got the same code, it's good for the account of the person placing the original order. And there is a note it's only good once. But hey, the things don't require a loan. 10% of very little doesn't lower the total price that much . The shipping fee for the manila envelope that goes regular mail is the 'gotcha'. But that's business. For less than $20 bucks mine are riding on the pointy nose of my (h) with the desired effect .

What did you use to clean the fog light lens?

I'm going to go with alcohol to get any wax off and then Windex.

Water or Windex is good, the lens's are glass. Also the instructions provided suggest an 'option' of a light water mist.

I ignored that and just applied to the dried glass lens. You 'WILL' need something like an exacto knife to trim the excess. I used a small box-cutter with an exacto blade and it worked fine. You can smooth any bubbles out with an old credit card and wash cloth wrapped around it. The film is thick and has adhesive on one side but can be pulled back up easily to make adjustments. That also tells me that if the day should come I don't want it anymore, just peel it off .

Default Optic Blue Laminate for Fogs

I dropped by my dealer today for some touch paint and just drove into their 'new' maintenance/parts area. One eagle eye tech noticed the blue tint on my fogs (they were not on) and by the time I got the car parked & shut down there were three wanting to know where I got them. The parts dept immediately was interested as a less expensive and viable way to sell protection and color temp at the same time. Everyone that saw it had a positive comment.

Nice!
The blue overlay looks nice with Starfire Pearl.I don't think it would look as nice with most other RX colors.

Are the fog light lenses really glass? I tapped one last night, and it sure sounds and feels like polycarbonate.
