Is it me or when you put the car in reverse and starting a bluetooth phone call, does the car stop the call dead in it's tracks? It seems to me like when the camera comes up, the call is stopped.

my rx gets dyslexia when in reverse & dials all the digits in reverse order

Yes that's what happens. I guess Lexus feels you should be paying attention when backing up. What a concept.

How very thoughtful of Lexus and I thought bluetooth was to help me place calls while driving. As if three mirrors and a back up camera weren't enough. Now I can't get in the car, place a call, have the phone dial, back out of parking space and start a conversation as I drive away. No wait, voice command is so accurate I will be three blocks away when it finally dials the right number.



Thanks, I thought it might be a bug or a flaw. You've cleared that up.

However when the phone is connected already, it will not stop the call when you put the gear in reverse.
