Orzel, I agree ugly! Ugly everywhere to me except the rear view. I think that is an improvement. It also has a wider look that is an improvement. I am beyond disappointed with the interior.
I want my parents RX to have the Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management System, which I believe will force us to have the Sport Package. Our dealer was told there would be no orders taken for these for 3 months. I will gladly wait because I want them to have every safety advantage possible, and maybe we will see some incentives by then. Without a better price we will be leaving Lexus and I hate that.

I had to endure an 08 400h loaner for the past week. It didn't start off that way: I had reasonably high expectations, but those expectations kept lowering with every mile behind the wheel, and before long I could not wait to get back into my 2010 RX350. It simply outclasses the older model on every level. There is very little comparison, inside or out, and not a single category outside of parking-lot-speed silent motoring where I didn't feel the pain of loss when compared to the 010.

I cannot find the advantage in owning a hybrid.

DNC says: "I cannot find the advantage in owning a hybrid."
You must look inward, my friend, because most of the advantage seems to be in how you feel driving it.

How about 295HP?

Of course, speaking purely of advantages in features (RX450h vs 350) and not price

I would only feel stupid driving one because I would know I would never get my money out of it, and if I was buying it in order to be "green" I would think it more "green" to buy a used car.

I would just hope it doesn't drive like the 400h. Ugh.

The new RX is the first RX that it's possible to move to after owning an 06 or later IS. The others all feel like they're from another planet (as do some other Lexus models like the ES). The new RX actually feels like it's part of the same family.

IF oil goes back up to $147/barrel or higher, you will see that advantage quite quickly! it's only a matter of time before oil prices sky rocket

Orzel, I'm not familiar with Cadillac's HUD, how's about BMW's? I'm not saying BMW's is any better, but using this, I can figure out more about how well '10RX is.

Thanks a lot.
