Default 103k service

2015 RX AWD. 103,000 miles, all previous service done as scheduled. Lexus recommends coolant replace (I agree), power steetring fluid (need advice), fuel filter (need advice). Taking it to a reputable Toyata dealer. Do it all? Or just oil cjange and coolant? Thx in advance.

Power steering in these cars is electric, no fluid to replace but some like to regrease steering racks, Red Line has a good rack grease. I like to clean or replace PCV valve about this mileage if that hasn't been done. Fuel system cleaners which contain strong amount of PEA (Polyetheramine) such as Chevron Techron or Red Line SI-1 in a tank of gasoline run through before oil change cleans up filter and injectors. AWD transfer and rear diff fluids should have been changed by now, if not this would be a good time for that. Transmission should have had a drain and refill at around 60k miles but do it now if not done, or do a second drain and fill. Hood and tailgate struts may be getting weak by now, weak rear struts can mess up tailgate motor, some of the exterior lights and headlights may be getting dim, sun roof drains may need cleaning of debris if sunroof is opened and used often. Engine air filters and cabin air filters are a yearly or more often chore. Various silicone products are around to refresh door, hood, sunroof and tailgate seals, I like OEM Honda Shin-Etsu Silicone Grease specifically made for rubber door moldings, available at any Honda parts desk, I like spray on silicone lubricant for door and hatch hinges. Cleaning AC condenser with correct product improves cooling and compressor efficiency. Windshields can get severely sand pitted by 100k miles if still original, aftermarket acoustic windshields with or without HUD are around at good price compared to oem. AGM batteries are easier on alternator and car electrics and are an upgrade, pure lead premium AGM batteries are best and last longest usually around 10 - 12 years. Some of the suspension components are getting weak by now; sway bar bushings and end links, possibly rear shocks. A 4 wheel alignment on a good quality alignment machine such as Hunter HawkEye or John Bean can often improve fuel economy. High mileage engine oil can condition and stop any current and future engine gasket leaks, 5W30 oil is recommended for 2GR-FE engine longevity, I like Porsche spec European Mobil 1 ESP which also has good amounts of seal conditioners. OEM brake fluid should be changed every couple years, Bosch ESI6 fluid is an upgrade over OEM spec'ed Dot 3 brake fluid and can extend changes. Definitely replace all coolant, I like the OEM Toyota premixed version, replace radiator cap with OEM also. At 100k miles chassis and underbody should be inspected, cleaned and anti-corrosion products renewed where needed. Shelf life of Lexus spare donut tire is 8 - 10 years even if never used and should be replaced, I like to carry a full sized spare wheel and new LTX tire to matched the cars rolling set for road trips, not as critical if car is only used as city car.

If in the Atlanta area, you should take it to Toyotechs, an independent Lexus/Toyota specialist. https://www.toyotechs.com/home

Or LexTechs, another independent Lexus specialist https://lextechsofatlanta.com/

Toyonly in Chamblee https://onlyshop.co/
