AC Compressor, Condenser & Radiator
This past week, I embarked on the journey to fix my AC system. Sunday night my air suddenly stopped blowing cold. If any of you know what the temperature in Houston Texas is like during July let’s just say it’s hot and that’s an understatement.
Anyway, I found a thread on here about using a magnet to manipulate a sensor that often fails. I attempted to do so and in the process, decided to go ahead and just change the sensor out since it’s available now. Unfortunately, instead of removing the correct sensor, I removed the wrong one which is a pressurized valve of some type and it shot out into my radiator. Both systems empty themselves of every liquid and gas right there in my driveway.
I embarked on the long journey, removing the condenser, the radiator the front right tire and the AC compressor.
All in all the job was not very difficult, especially if you have the correct tools on hand. In subsequent messages of this thread, I will outline the procedures that I used.
