Default Inner Tie Rod

Hello, I need a bit of help, is it posible to change only the inner tie rods without having to buy and change the complete rack?

You should be able to replace just the tie-rod-ends. Tie rods don't need replacement unless they have been bent. If you need the rod that goes to the steering rack that may not be available or sold independently. Just measure approximate length and match and you should be able to drive it short distance for alignment.

Next question is after-market or OEM. Check with Lexus parts to look up parts from sites like Lexus of Atlanta and drill down to the model yr of your RX. . A quick visit will confirm if Lexus sells the part you want. Also seriously think about the other side/end as it may be close to its end of life and no point doing alignment in 2 months.

Rockauto has the tie rods. You'll need an inner tie rod tool, I used the one from Lisle and it works well. Size is 31.8mm if I remember correctly to grab onto the flats. Save OEM tie rod boot if it's not ripped, as the aftermarket ones are not as nice quality and will tear far quicker.

I was browsing Ebay when I found someone selling the inner and outer parts of the rack separately.

My question was because if people sell the inner and outer separately then it is posible to change the inner tie rod without changing the complete rack

Experience from a long time ago [may not be applicable in your situation]
I found the item I was looking for but it was in worst shape than what I had.
Used market is only good for fixed parts. If plan to fixup and sell then go the pre-owned route, but for any movable part steer clear of used parts.
